GMA Hall Of Fame
History
The Gospel Music Association Hall Of Fame was founded in 1971 with the induction of George Speer and Jim Waits. The hall was originally founded to honor those in the field of Southern Gospel Music, but later expanded to include all forms of Christian Music. The GMA only inducted individuals at first, but in 1998, the hall began inducting entire groups as well.
